    Dear Colleagues and Friends,

    Following the tremendous success of the 1st Workshop on Engineering Optimization (WEO 2019), we are pleased to announce the Second Workshop on Engineering Optimization (WEO 2021). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the workshop will be organized in a hybrid form.

    This year's edition of WEO is dedicated to the exchange of experiences in the field of computer vision-based civil infrastructure inspection and monitoring with emphasis on automatic crack detection in concrete structures.

    Venue

    The Workshop will be organized in Warsaw, Poland, at the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IPPT PAN). IPPT PAN is a member of Ochota Biocentre established by six research institutes located at Ochota Campus. The Institute is easily accessible by public transport and is directly connected by bus with Warsaw Airport (a distance of about 6 km).
